DescriptionStele nearly complete; missing a chunk from the right; figure at left missing its legs and part of hieroglyph below. The sides are roughly finished. A face at right and some lines of the inscription below the scene were erased. The figures are in low relief, the hieroglyphs incised. Limestone, with some paint.

The reliefs occupy the upper two-thirds of a rectangular stele with rounded top. The scene is framed above by a line of five-pointed stars incised on a raised band symbolizing the heavens. Beneath it is a large, winged disc referring to the sun god, Ra flanked by two uraei (royal cobras), protective symbols. The snake bodies lie on the wings. Beneath the wings at right are six columns of hieroglyphs.

A horizontal band with groups of four vertical lines establish a ground line, beneath which one row of hieroglyphs remains. Signs of erasure occur below this band, with incised lines indicating that three more rows of hieroglyphs once appeared in this area.

Traces of red and green paint remain. Red appears on circular shapes, clothes, and flowers, and green on the flowers’ stems, a pot, some hieroglyphs, and on the body of the figure at far left. The designations S.1769 and 97.888 occur in red on the left edge.
