Selected Works by the MFA Class of 2024

Each year the Ackland presents works by UNC-Chapel Hill’s Master of Fine Arts in Studio Arts candidates in an exhibition selected by rotating curators. This year’s participating artists are Mark Anthony Brown Jr., Molly English, Matthew Troyer, and Vera Weinfield. Selected Works by the MFA Class of 2024 is curated by Lauren Turner, associate curator for contemporary art and special projects at the Ackland.
Selected Works by the MFA Class of 2024 will be held in the Ackland’s gallery for Art since 1950 from the permanent collection. Those permanent collection works will be unavailable for view from April 1, 2024, until May 25, 2024.
More information specific to this year’s exhibition concept will be available in Spring 2024. At the same time as Selected Works by the MFA Class of 2024, the artists will display their thesis projects at CAM Raleigh.
